My friend had a baby boy and this past Sunday we had a welcoming party for him. I was put in charge of the decorations and party favors. While I forgot to get a picture of it all set up at the party, I did get a picture of the display on the floor of my room!.
The background is a chalkboard from Home Depot that I picked up to use as a backdrop for my photography. I used chalkboard paint markers to draw some sky scrapers.
The random 'pow' 'zap' 'boom' signs are all free clip art from the google search engine!
The personalized banner was courtesy of My Paper Craze. You can check out their custom printable here: http://www.mypapercraze.com/?p=2422.
The best part is it was free!
While I have made the super hero lollipop capes before from "scratch", I did purchase the template due to time constraints. I got this customizable template from Simon Made It. You can find it here: http://www.simonemadeit.com/templates/superhero-lollipop-capes-masks-favors/
Here is a close up of the lollipop display. I just used foam from the flower section that I had left over from another project.
Of course here is the diaper cake. Box of diapers, rubber bands, ribbon and craft foam that I cut out. Pretty east I did it in about an hour and a half. It is simple, but still looks AWESOME!
In the end, great party, lots of compliments on the display. A little display can really spruce up a party!! For more ideas on baby boy superhero parites check outt my idea board on pinterest:
